Rose Mikulski

Rose was born in and raised in south Florida. She attended Blanch Ely High School in Pompano Beach, FL (1998-2002) and matriculated to the University of Florida in the summer of 2002.

She joined the McKenna lab in Spring 2005. Her undergraduate research involved the crystallization, and structural determination of several mutants of the human MnSOD protein. She has also collaborated with the Silverman lab on the production of deuterated MnSOD for neutron diffraction studies.

Rose plans to graduate in May 2006 from the University of Florida and pursue graduate studies.
