Nicolette Case
Nicolette grew up in Daytona Beach, Florida where she received her Associate of Arts degree from Daytona Beach Community College. She then attended the University of Florida majoring in Microbiology and Cell Science.
As an undergraduate, she did research on mosquito carbonic anhydrase under the direction of Dr. Robert McKenna and Zoe Fisher. After graduation, she worked as a technician in the ICBR Education Core and for Dr. Stephen Sugrue at UF.
She is currently pursuing her PhD, studying the structure and kinetics of the tumor associated carbonic anhydrase IX under the direction of Drs. Robert McKenna and David Silverman. Like John, Nicolette also enjoys long walks on the beach and snuggles from her cats.
