Hyun-Joo Nam

Hyun-Joo Nam received her Ph. D. in Cellular and Developmental Biology from Harvard University in 1996 under the direction of Dr. C. Frederick for work on crystallographic studies of SH2 and SH3 domains of oncoproteins ABL and SHC. In 1997, she became a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Biological chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology, Harvard University. She carried out research on structural analysis of phosphatase domains of RPTP LAR and CD45. Recently, she became an assistant scientist in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida, under the supervision of Dr. Mavis McKenna.
