Caroli Genis

Caroli was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and moved to the United States in 1999. She attended Forest High School in Ocala, FL and graduated in 2003.

Her college curriculum started at Central Florida Community College where she played on the NJCAA Div I Tennis Team. In 2005 she enrolled at the University of Florida and she is currently double majoring in Biochemistry and Microbiology.

Caroli joined the McKenna Lab as an undergraduate student and she is working on structural studies of carbonic anhydrase inhibitor complexes.
